The spider imitates an ant. It is quite similar to an ant, when it walks on foliage. It is difficult to notice it is a spider until it drags its line and comes down. It is among the most perfect ant mimics. The length is 7-8 mm. It is found on four main islands in Japan - namely, Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu, and Okinawa. |
