Argyrodes kumadai (Theridiidae) [Japanese name : chiri isoro-gumo]

IllustThe spider acts like a thief. A.kumadai doesn't weave a web

itself; it relies on the other spiders' webs, and steals prey from

the host spider. And sometimes, it eats the host spider.

The length is 7-8 mm.

It is found on four main islands in Japan - namely, Honshu,

Shikoku, Kyushu, and Okinawa.
