Oxyopes sertatus (Oxyopidae) [Japanese name : sasa-gumo]
It is a lynx
spider. It's a non web weaving spider , waiting for its prey
on vegetation.
When spiders are frightened at a noise, they are jump away.
The spider has the long black spikes in its legs, and its abdomen tapers
to a point towards the rear.
The length is 8-11 mm.
It is found on four main islands in Japan - namely, Honshu, Shikoku,
Kyushu, and Okinawa.
