These spiders usually wait for their prey on grass, on the edges of ponds or streams. They run away over the surface of ponds and streams, when they sense a danger signal. The length is 18-20 mm. It is found on three main islands in Japan - namely, Honshu, Shikoku, and Kyushu. |
