Philodromus spinitarsis (Philodromidae) [Japanese name : kihada ebi-gumo]
The spider is
on Sugi or Japanese cedar and on Hinoki or Japanese
cypress etc.
In winter, the spiders are under the bark of trees.
The length is 6-8 mm.
It is found on the four main islands of Japan - namely, Hokkaido,
Honshu, Shikoku, and Kyushu.
