Argyrodes bonadea (Theridiidae) [Japanese name : shirokane isoro-gumo]

IllustThe spider acts like a thief. Tiny dew-drop spider, A.bonadea, doesn't weave

a web itself. This spider exists on other spiders' web, and steals small

prey from the host spider.

Sometimes, it eats the host's threads.

It is even as if it is nonexistent! It is a very small spider, silver in color.

The length is 3-4 mm.

It is found on four main islands in Japan - namely, Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu, and Okinawa.
