The spider usually perches on the foliage of pampas grass on the edge of

mountain paths and in meadows.

This spider's form and color is just like the excrement of a bird.

The spider imitates the excrement of a bird.

It weaves a quasi-concentric circular web during the night.

The length is 7-8 mm.

It is found on four main islands in Japan - namely, Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu, and Okinawa.
