The spider perches on the reverse side of leaves, the foliage of pampas

grass on the side of mountain paths and in meadows.

This spider's form and color is just like the excrement of a bird.

The spider imitates the excrement of a bird.

It weaves a quasi-concentric circular web during the night.

The length is 8-10 mm.

It is found on four main islands in Japan - namely, Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu, and Okinawa.
