The spider is found in gardens, in houses, on beaches, in high mountains, etc. The spider is most normally found in Japan, but also in other place in the world. The spider leads many threads up and down obliquely, and makes a web like a basket. Because the tip of the warp that is link to the floor is sticky, the insect that touches it is caught. Then, the spider sends out many threads to the prey and lifts it like the crane. The length is 6-8 mm. It is found throughout Japan. |
