It is a long-jawed water orb-web spider. The spider weaves a horizontal orb web, which is in grass such as near irrigation canals and the ponds of a paddy field. It's a rather slender spider, its legs are long, and its jaw is big and long. The length is 13-15 mm. It is found throughout Japan. |
